T4 & T5 Preparation

Every year companies are required to file T4’s for all your employees, T4A’s for your pension incomes and self employed commissions, T3’s for your trust distributions and T5’s for the dividends which corporations declared. We will ensure these are filed on time to the Canada Revenue Agency.

Client Bookkeeping

Revenue Canada requires accounting ledgers to be in some electronic format. Every business is different and requires different bookkeeping needs. We at Saunders and Associates are dedicated to meet the needs of our clients to ensure that their financial records are accurate and that their tax needs are met.

Employment Income Tax

Every tax payer has to remit an T1 information return on or before the 30th of April. We at Saunders and Associates look forward to assisting you in the preparation of this return. We are e-file eligible and we will e-file your return on your behalf so that you don’t have to worry about your return getting lost in the mail and you will receive your refund a lot sooner. Sorry, we do not offer “Cash Back”.

Financial Reporting and Return Preparation

Revenue Canada requires that you submit to them financial information in a few different ways. If you are registered for GST, you have to submit this information annually, quarterly or monthly depending on your gross taxable sales. You also have to send an annual statement of earnings at the end of your fiscal year. We will calculate the information required and will fill out the forms required by Revenue Canada so that you can worry about running your business.

Source Remittance and Remuneration

When paying employees, Revenue Canada requires us to hold back a certain portion of tax. They also require that the employer pays a certain portion to Revenue Canada on behalf of the employee. This is to be paid to Revenue Canada by the 15th of the following month. We will keep track of the money held back and calculate the employer portion for you. We will ensure that these reports are ready for you in time so that you are not late.
